課程介紹—Delegate speaking
在模擬聯合國會議中，我們扮演不同國家的代表，針對會議的議題進行討論和協商，保障國家的最大利益。不同國家之間，存在不同政治立場、宗教文化、經濟地位等差異，為了達到共識，是需要技巧、先備知識的。在事關重大的情況下，唯具有有效地溝通以及清楚闡明國家立場的能力，才能真正讓會議發揮其最佳效益。在這堂課中，我們傳授的不只是公開演說的技巧，更指導學生如何憑藉一己之力，成為一位影響力且有說服力的代表。
In Model United Nations, we represent different countries, debating and negotiating on the issues at hand to safeguard the nation’s best interests. Countries differ in their political views, religious customs, and economic standing, and reaching an agreement calls for insight and understanding. Only those who can effectively communicate and properly state their nation's perspective can make a meeting truly productive in dire circumstances. In this lecture, we teach not only the skills of public speaking but also guide students on how to leverage their unique abilities to become influential and persuasive delegates.

透過學習內容詳盡且富有啟發性的國際組織——聯合國（UN）課程，講師將帶領學員全面了解該機構的運作、歷史發展及其在全球社會中扮演的重要角色。課程涵蓋聯合國的核心價值、主要機構、決策流程及其在維護國際和平與安全、促進人權、推動永續發展等方面的實際作為。在講師的指導下，學生將不僅學習聯合國的基本架構與功能，還將透過案例分析、模擬討論及小組活動，親身體驗國際外交的運作模式。
Through a comprehensive and insightful course on the United Nations (UN), lecturers will guide students in gaining a thorough understanding of the organization’s operations, historical development, and its crucial role in global society. In this lecture, we cover the UN’s core values, main bodies, decision-making processes, and its practical efforts in maintaining international peace and security, promoting human rights, and advancing sustainable development. Under the guidance of our lecturers , students will not only learn about the fundamental structure and functions of the UN but also engage in case studies, simulation discussions, and group activities to experience the dynamics of international diplomacy firsthand.

Mock MUN provides an engaging and accessible introduction to international relations, diplomacy, and strategic decision-making for beginners. In a structured yet dynamic environment, participants engage in fast-paced debates that refine their improvisational skills, critical thinking, and ability to adapt under pressure. Emphasizing collaboration and the appreciation of diverse perspectives, Mock MUN empowers students to confidently articulate and defend their assigned positions. With a supportive atmosphere that encourages learning and growth, it equips delegates with the skills and confidence needed for advanced conferences while enhancing their leadership, negotiation abilities, and global awareness.

外交不僅限於會議桌上的辯論與談判，更是一種跨文化的交流與理解。而在模擬聯合國中，晚宴無疑是最具魅力的環節之一。我們將歡唱高歌，為這次活動畫下圓滿句點。晚宴的存在，不僅讓在會議中立場對立或交流較少的代表們有機會相識，更讓大家能夠暫時放下會議的壓力與政治立場，全心享受當下的狂歡。在這裡，代表們可以盡情地態展現風采，在歌聲與笑語中，共同為這段充滿智慧與挑戰的模聯旅程，畫下最閃耀的句點。
Diplomacy involves more than just discussions and agreements at the conference table; it also involves understanding and communicating across cultural boundaries. Without a doubt, one of the most interesting aspects of Model United Nations is the banquet. We'll sing and celebrate as we wrap up this activity. In addition to giving delegates who might have divergent opinions or little opportunity to interact during the conference the opportunity to bond, the banquet enables everyone to temporarily put aside the demands and political stances of the meeting in order to fully enjoy the present celebration. Here, delegates showcase their personalities with an open mindset, and together, through songs and laughter, they bring this journey of wisdom and challenges in Mock MUN to its most shining conclusion.
